THE audience were shaken, not

stirred, on Wednesday night at the

premiere of the latest James Bond

movie, Quantum of Solace, at

Glendale Greater Union. The event

was a special opening for 2NURFM

and guests were treated to choctops

and chocolate bullets.

A FOND FAREWELL

ANGLICAN Dean of Newcastle

the Very Reverend Graeme

Lawrence was farewelled on

Thursday with a dinner at City

Hall. Dean Lawrence will offi cially

retire on December 31 after

24 years as the rector of Christ

Church Cathedral.
